Advantages of leveling in Rainbow Six

8 mins read

In competitive games, there’s a lot of grind before one can get better at it. We, players, grind hours upon hours playing the game and mastering its lingo while also keeping our composure and tolerating toxic players along the way. We do all of this to get better at something we like and are passionate about.

In most multiplayer games, two types of grind go into being a better player. The first and the most celebrated one is the rank push. Every player who plays a certain type of game with a hard rank ladder knows how hard work goes before getting a supreme rank. So whenever a player gets a certain high level rank they get more respect out of their gaming peers.

The second grind which is kind of diminished by players due to it being not valuable enough is the account leveling. This account leveling thing is present in almost all of the current multiplayer games whether they are first-person shooters or whether they belong to the MOBA genre. Every game is equipped with account leveling.

So today’s blog is going to be on level in Rainbow Six Siege. Now why Rainbow Six Siege specifically? So if you don’t know there’s a Halloween sale going on Rainbow Six Siege and you can get the title for very little money. Due to that, there are a lot of new players coming into the game. I figured that somebody needs to tell these new players how things work in Rainbow Six Siege.

So if you’re new to the game then stick around and learn about what are the advantages of leveling in Rainbow Six Siege.

Unlock Content:

The biggest caveat for newcomers in these types of competitive games Is that only a few modes are available on newer accounts and players have to grind hard to get to a certain level before unlocking other game modes.

In Rainbow Six Siege levels work a little differently. So every level up gives some renown points which is an in-game currency of R6. you can use this renowned point to unlock certain cosmetics. New operators and weapon skins. Apart from that the leveling works the same as it does in most other games.

Here’s what each level gets you access to:

  • Level 1-5: Introductions and tutorials.

In the first few levels players are trained to get familiar with the basics of the game. Other than unlocking some basic game modes. Nothing special happens at base levels

  • Level 10: Game Modes Unlocked.

Situations and terrorist modes get unlocked. Now players can play against AI Bots and get the PvE experience of the game.

  • Level 20: ranked mode Unlocked.

At Level 20 the ranked mode gets unlocked and now players can compete against each other and get the cutthroat competitive experience of Rainbow Six.

  • Level 50: Champion Rank Access.

After reaching level 50 players can now aim to get the champion rank. Which is the most prestigious one in all of the rank ladder in Rainbow Six Siege.

So now you know every level comes with new content. Apart from that, what are the other things that leveling is good for in Rainbow Six Siege? Let’s talk about them as well.

Other benefits:

Account’s age:

Leveling can easily indicate how old an account is. The higher level that an account has the more mature the account would be. But you can’t trust only leveling to tell the account’s age since some players only grind for levels and they can get level up to level 50 pretty quickly. So telling the account’s age by a higher level can mislead in some Scenarios.

Easier To Spot Smurfs:

Smurfs are those players who are experienced in the game and have higher-rank skill sets but play on a new account against lower-rank players. As you might have thought this ruins everybody’s experience. So by going with the account’s level, you could easily tell if the player is smurfing or not.

Rewards:

Now lastly leveling also rewards in-game cosmetics, operator skins, and gun skins. With each level you surpass you earn some renown coins and with these renown coins, you can buy whatever is available in the store.

Tips for leveling faster:

So here are some of my tips that’ll help you to level up quicker.

Play Unranked:

Playing 10 to 20 hours of unranked mode will get you to level 30 easily, not only that it’ll also help you in developing game sense which will help you in your future games for predicting enemy’s movements. Apart from that, playing 1 or two unranked games before jumping into a competitive queue is usually a better choice.

Use XP Friendly Operators:

So if you’re new to the game then this does not apply to you but if you have some renown coins left then getting an xp Friendly operator would be a good choice. Because in R6 some operators have abilities that help them get more xp than usual.

Play Daily Challenges:

So like most other games Rainbow Six also gives out daily challenges to keep players coming on into the game and retain them for longer. You can use these daily challenges to get more XP Than usual.

Buy Elo Boosting:

This is the fastest way of getting to level 50. Buying Elo boosting is a common choice among new players of Rainbow Six Siege. Since they do not have enough experience of doing it on their own. There are tons of boosting providers that offer insane value in elo boosting while being inexpensive. My recommendation would be that you buy Elo boosting from Immortalboost since they have tons of positive reviews on sites like trust pilot and Reviews.io not only that they are one of the cheapest boosting providers out there.
